Where is your donation going?
89.2% of your donation directly benefits the young adults in our program. The Board of Directors has structured the Roots & Wings organization to run almost exclusively with volunteers. The only exceptions are the caseworker and program management positions which are services that provide direct support to our clients. The foundation’s administrative expenses are merely 10.8% of the total budget.
Donate a Car
Are you thinking of selling or trading in that old car? Why not donate it instead? As a charitable contribution your donation could make a big difference in the life of a young adult. A car is a necessity in Morris County in order for our clients to reach their goals. Every client in the program works more than 20 hours per week while completing their high school degree, attending college or a vocational school.We can pickup your car for free and give you an official receipt for tax purposes. Donate furniture or other in-kind donations
Roots & Wings is often in need on in-kind donations such as furniture or other household items. Gift cards are greatly appreciated around the holidays, birthdays, and to establish new clients in their apartments. Please contact us at 973-316-6044 for an in-kind donation.Run a fundraiser
